Why choose   Maggie Bonecutter
Marketing Communications?

proven results. passion.  professionalism. fun.

Born from a   1984 sitcom.

Remember the show "Who's the Boss?" It was 1984 and Maggie was 12. With bleached hair that kissed the heavens, the "boss" (Angela Bower) was a supremely beautiful and intensely savvy advertising executive. Maggie pledged right there and then that she was going to be one, too. At least the savvy part worked out.

 Decades of experience.  Clients nationwide.

EXPERIENCE AND PROVEN RESULTS. Maggie achieved her Angela Bower, corporate America dream – less the mile-high hair – climbing the marketing communications ladder for several national brands, including American City Business Journals, Bank of America and the California Community Colleges.

As marketing executive for Bank of America's Wholesale Mortgage division, one of the largest in the nation at that time, Maggie proved that her team's activities increased targets' production by 48 percent. Along the way at the bank, she won a best-in-class designation for her division's marketing plan, earned a Six Sigma green belt certification and executed a goal-exceeding United Way campaign for 12,000 Charlotte-based Bank of America employees.

As freelance account manager for Full Capacity Marketing’s client, California Community Colleges’ Workforce and Economic Development Division (WEDD), Maggie and her team advanced communications efforts that helped California Community Colleges, the largest and most complex higher education system in the nation, secure $1.1 billion in additional state funding for career education. Awards include first place, social media campaign, Community Colleges Public Relations Organization, 2016; three global Davey Awards: WEDD annual report (2017), WEDD brand architecture guidelines (2017) and WEDD Communications Toolkit (2016).

PASSION. Maggie's career has allowed her to explore and serve an array of fascinating industries and disciplines, including banking, customer experience (CX), education, entertainment, health care, home improvement, hospitality, non-profit, publishing, software and IT, utilities and more. Each day she pinches herself to make sure this gig is real.

PROFESSIONALISM. If Maggie says she will deliver, she will deliver. On time, on target and on budget with no indigestion.

FUN. Maggie has fun everywhere she goes, including work. You're invited to join in.

CREDENTIALS AND SUCH. Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from hard-core, old-school, news reporters at Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism (one of the top five in the nation) and a graduate certificate in integrated marketing communications from Golden Gate University. She also earned a certificate in Digital Communincation and Multimedia from Simplilearn and is a Sandhills Community College Dedman Fellow in Leadership. Maggie leads a devout Moms in Prayer International group at her younger daughter’s school and serves on the boards of her older daughter's super-duper-smart high school forensics team and PTSA. Her North Carolina home is a teeming mass of crazy with her hunky husband, two amazing daughters, one gassy dog, one diabetic cat, one blind cat and one normal cat.
